Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan is working hard on his upcoming movie Dangal. The film is a biographical movie and he plays the role of a wrestler in the movie, Mahavir Phogat. Reportedly, the actor was grievously injured on the sets of Dangal movie while shooting in Ludhiana. As per the sources, while working out for an important scene, the actor was injured and is now suffering from muscle spasms in the back and thighs. After this incident, the makers decided to put a break to the shooting of the film as the actor has been advised bed rest. Doctors have advised Aamir to take two days bed rest before getting back to work. The shooting of Dangal movie shall hence remain suspended for this time period. As per the proclamations by the sources, the muscle spasm was due to the intense workout schedule that Aamir Khan has been adhering to lately. The Dangal actor is practising wrestling for many hours to complete the shoot and that is when he got injured.
The shooting of Dangal movie is otherwise pacing up with its filming. The movie is a biographical film, based on the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat, a Haryana-based wrestler. While the movie is being primarily shot in villages of Gujjarwal, Leel, Narangwal, Dango and Kila Raipur of Ludhiana, some sequences have also been shot in Ludhiana at Guru Nanak Stadium. Aamir Khan has undergone a great change to fit in the role perfectly. He is being trained by his personal trainer Rahul Bhatt, son of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt. Rahul is a known fitness trainer who is accompanying Aamir in Ludhiana. For the upcoming movie Dangal, Aamir has been working on his diet and workout schedule. The sources confirmed to Aamir’s muscle spasm that be got while shooting. After the actor took rest of 2 days, he is doing absolutely fine now and shall be back on the shoot very soon.
Dangal is scheduled to release on Christmas 2016. The movie will see popular television actress Sakshi Tanwar casted opposite Aamir Khan. The actor had complained of sudden intense pain in his thighs, the reason of which, most probably, was due to the strain he is taking for practising the wrestling moves. He complained of the pain while the cast and crew of Dangal were shooting in village Gujjarwal. The shoot was immediately called off for the day and he was taken for a check up.
