Indeed, even as fans are eagerly looking forward for the release of S.S. Rajamouli directorial Baahubali 2, that might apparently be titled as Baahubali: The Conclusion, the most recent reports suggest that the film will calsh with Aamir Khan’s upcoming biographical movie Dangal. As per the reports, the creators of Baahubali 2 movie are considering releasing it around Christmas 2016. This is the same time when Aamir’s film Dangal is planned to release in theatres. On the other hand, if the gossipy tidbits are to be trusted, then possibility is that the income of Dangal may get influenced by Rajamouli’s film. Both the films are big-budget movies that have versatile actors casted, and both the movies have a good storyline too. Considering that people are highly excited for both the movies, it might massively effect the box office collections of both the movies. The collections of Aamir’s much talked about project Dangal, where he will be playing the role of a wrestler, might get adversely affected if both the movie release on the same date and witness a clash.
In the mean time, the shooting of Baahubali 2 that got postponed because of the pre-production work is believed to start from December. On the other hand, Aamir, who is at present shooting for Dangal movie in Ludhiana, will be essaying the part of the well known wrestler Mahavir Phogat. Aamir will be playing the father of wrestlers Geeta and Babita Kumari Phogat. The movie is based on the struggles Mahavir faced while training his daughters for making a career in wrestling. Recently, Aamir’s comment on “rising tolerance” in India set off a heated debate in the nation and the performing artist was intensely reprimanded on online platforms. This was the reason why Aamir’s security has been levelled up since people who are not happy with his remarks on tolerance are questing for the actor to take serious actions against him.
Trade experts suggest that if the two movies clash then it might create a problem for Dangal. While this news has yet not been confirmed, we hear that Dangal makers are in talking terms with Bahubali 2 makers to avoid the clash and settle for a different date. While it stays to be seen whether the two movies conflict in 2016, this year will see Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol’s Dilwale and Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s Bajirao Mastani conflicting on 18 December 2015.
