Dangal actor Aamir Khan was spotted in a very bulky avatar months ago when he had just started shooting for his upcoming flick, Dangal. The Bollywood superstar was said to be weighing around 95 Kgs at that time. He had gained extra weight for his role of a wrestler to be played by him in the movie. In Dangal, Aamir Khan will be seen portraying the role of famous wrestler, Mahavir Phogat.
The actor who celebrated his 51st birthday in march this year was recently spotted by media in a very lean and slim shape. Aamir is said to be going through a very rigorous training regime to shed the extra Kilos that he had piled up for his role in Dangal.
The actor was spotted in Arizona, in the US where he had been undergoing a very strict workout routine to achieve a lean and healthy shape. He would start his workout everyday at 6 a.m. and follow it for 8-10 hours everyday.
His fitness regime included walking, running, jogging, trekking followed by playing tennis, cycling, swimming as well as specific weight exercises. The actor used to abide religiously to this fitness training given to him by his trainer.
Along with strict weight training, The actor also followed a special diet chart devised by his trainer.
Aamir Khan had gained a whopping 22 Kgs for essaying the role of an ageing wrestler. He has lost 13 Kgs in the past few months and will shed 12kgs in the coming months to play a younger role in Dangal movie.
In Dangal, Aamir will be seen portraying the role of Mahavir Phogat who teaches wrestling to his two daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat. Dangal is the directorial venture of Nitesh Tiwari and is slated to release on Christmas this year.
